Holy Carp!!

On October 2, we went down to the dock at Blue Springs Lake with our friend, Linda Morgan. Wow! That is a crazy experience! The fish just waited with open mouths for the bread we threw to them. Then, there was this insane feeding frenzy, where they were all piling on top of each other, even above water, to get to the bread. Caleb thought it was fabulous! No pictures of Ali - she was less than thrilled! :)

Family Picture

This July, we spent a week in Gatlinburg, Tennessee with the whole Zeikle family. This picture was taken on the deck of our cabin, overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. The view was fabulous! We enjoyed the week away with the whole family.

Ali's favorite part of the day, by far, was the slide. She loves to slide, but usually needs help. She learned to conquer this one and was able to climb up and slide down a dozen times. You can't help loving that joy-filled face!

Day at Deanna Rose Farmstead

Sept 27: This was our second visit to the farmstead. We LOVE it!
Caleb was so brave to feed the goats! (Last time, he completely refused.) Although she professes a love for animals, Alison learned she was not ready to be within 2 feet of a live goat. She did, however, find her groove on the playground. The pretend pony was much more in her realm. Caleb also spent some time talking to ol' Bessie: "How Now Brown Cow!"
